This morning, we were delighted to welcome our wonderful speech and language therapist, Majella, who spoke to our nursery and primary one parents about the essential building blocks of language development. She covered key topics such as the difference between speech and language, vocabulary development for 3 to 4-year-olds, and the significant role of reading and nursery rhymes in early language acquisition. Majella also provided helpful guidance on what parents can do if they have concerns regarding their child’s speech. It was an incredibly informative session, and we are grateful to Majella for her expertise. Our parents left with a deeper understanding of how to support their child’s speech and language progress.
