This month, it was the turn of Mrs Whoriskey’s P4 class to present their wonderful assembly. The children based their assembly on Lent. They took turns to speak about the things that we do, during lent, to prepare for Easter. They explained that during lent, we think about the things that we can do to better ourselves and the things that we can do to help others around us. They also talked about the story of “The Lost Sheep” and how this tells us that Jesus loves us and forgives us, no matter what we do in life. The children did a fabulous job portraying their important Lenten message to their audience. Well done, boys and girls! ✝️🙏🏻
