All week we had been reading the Supertato books by Sue Hendra. When the children came in on World book day they had messages telling them the Evil Pea had escaped. While the children were in the hall having a story the Evil Pea came and trashed both the primary 1 classrooms. We were in disbelief. The children then set to work making their own super veggies, making traps and writing signs to warn him off. The Evil Pea also left us some tasks to complete for phonics and maths and we even had a taste test activity with crisps. What a busy and exciting World Book Day for P1.
