P5A - Catholic Schools Week
This Catholic School's Week, the P5A students have explored themes grounded in faith, community, and love. Each day this week has been filled with meaningful activities that foster a greater understanding of our role as individuals in our school, homes, and parish. Here's a glimpse into our week:
Monday: The Parable of Zacchaeus
We began our week reflecting on the Parable of Zacchaeus and how it teaches us to be good friends. The children engaged in discussions about kindness and understanding the needs of others. 🤝❤️
Tuesday: Our Parish Community
On Tuesday, we focused on our parish and the integral role it plays in our lives. Students shared ideas on how to become active participants in our community—building connections that strengthen our bonds. 🌱🏛️
Wednesday: Grandparents Day Mass
Midweek brought a special celebration with our Grandparents Day Mass. Students exchanged heartfelt gifts and prayers, honouring the wisdom and love our grandparents bestow upon our families. A heartfelt thank you to all grandparents! 🌹🙏
Thursday: The Loving Father
Continuing our journey, we retold the story of the Loving Father through an engaging drama activity. Students creatively applied this tale to their own lives, emphasising forgiveness and compassion. 🎭✏️
Friday: Contributing to the Common Good
For our final day at home, students designed thoughtful posters showcasing ways to contribute to the common good within our schools, homes, and parish. We can't wait to share these inspiring ideas in class!
Thank you to all parents, grandparents, and friends for your ongoing support as we celebrate our faith and community together. Let’s continue to nurture a spirit of kindness and collaboration throughout our school year! 🌈💖
