P5 Visit from NI Fire & Rescue Service 🚒🔥
What an exciting and informative day for our P5 students! Last Thursday, we had the wonderful opportunity to welcome the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) into our school. The children were eager to learn about fire safety—especially with the festive season upon us! 🎄✨
Throughout the session, our pupils explored essential fire safety tips to keep themselves and their families safe all year round. With the holiday celebrations just around the corner, it’s vital to remember safe practices when decorating with lights, cooking festive meals, and enjoying a cosy atmosphere at home.
We are incredibly proud of how our P5 students engaged with the fire service personnel. They asked thoughtful questions that demonstrated the Holy Child values of helpfulness and yearning to learn. It was inspiring to see how these values align perfectly with the mission of NIFRS—protecting our community and ensuring safety for all.
A massive thank you to the NI Fire & Rescue Service for this invaluable experience! 🚒❤️ We look forward to seeing our students carrying this knowledge into their homes and sharing it with their loved ones.
Stay safe, everyone, and let’s keep the festive season joyful and secure!
