What a busy day we had on the farm this week! We discussed the types of food the farmer gives to the animals and how it changes during the winter. We chatted about why animals are kept in pens/stables or sheds and we worked together to build them safe spaces on the farm. We then discussed how farmers can sustain their farm by selling meat, wool, eggs and milk. The children understand why the farmer shears the sheep but their favourite part was when they milked the cows by squeezing its udders! 🐮 🐷 🐔 🐴 🐑
