Our curious little scientists wanted to explore an interesting question: How do whales, polar bears, and penguins stay warm? The Arctic and Antarctic are incredibly cold places, and while the children knew that blubber helps these animals stay warm, they were eager to understand how it works. They had a fantastic time conducting an experiment using lard, ice, and gloves to simulate how blubber keeps the cold at bay. It was a fun and engaging way to learn!
