Notices for week beginning week of 14th January

The children have had a really good start to the new term and have all settled back in extremely quickly. We will be having parent teacher meetings beginning 21st January and it is very important that all parents attend to hear how your child is progressing in school and also if there is anything you can do to help them at home.  

All children will be bringing home a letter today to ask all parents to please check their child/ren’s head for ‘head lice’. Unfortunately, head lice are a common problem in any primary school and it is often very difficult to eradicate them completely as a child can be treated but if all the children in the class are not treated they can become re-infected. Therefore, I would ask for your support in checking your child this weekend and treat if necessary – free treatment is available through minor ailment at any chemist.
