On Wednesday our P5s visit the Ulster Museum in Belfast as part of their World Around Us topic on the Egyptians.

The children are working very hard at the minute preparing for their end of year assessments that begin this week. Attendance will be more important than ever in the coming weeks as they undertake these tests by computer.

Our P4s and P7s edge ever closer to the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation. Final arrangements will be made with our local photographer re Holy Communion this week. There will be refreshments in the school hall immediately after the mass and we hope everyone will pop in for quick catch up with classmates and staff. More details re confirmation will also be sent home this week.

The newsletter for April will be sent home on Wednesday after our April Awards are presented at the assembly that morning.

A massive thank you to the local Men's Shed and staff who have been "transforming" our school grounds in the past week. I'm sure everyone has noticed how well the grounds are looking.

Congratulations to our school Gaelic Team who were runners up in the Sean Dolan's Cup on Friday. I'm sure there will be photographs we can post of this next week.

Finally, don't forget the children are off school next Monday, May 7th for the Bank Holiday. Let's hope we get some lovely weather
