I would like to once again thank everyone who sent in The Christmas Shoeboxes in the end the total was 101, these small boxes do really make a difference to a child's Christmas.
You may also be aware that I sent a letter home last week unfortunately some may be still at the bottom of bags so I will summarise the content. Every Christmas all the staff at Holy Child are touched by the cards and presents they receive from the children and parents. This year we have decided to do our part in helping out families in need in our local community by asking parents to make a donation to St Vincent de Paul instead of buying any staff presents. Money can be dropped into the yellow box in the Foyer.
We will also be fundraising for St Vincent de Paul by having a Christmas Raffle please see below for prizes - the Nursery will also be having its own raffle with a bike as the winning prize. The tickets will only be on sale for 2 weeks beginning this Monday 26th November and stopping on Friday 7th December. This is no stop the children from putting undue duress on parents to constantly buy tickets.
