We had lots of fun but also lots of learning through the rhyme Humpty Dumpty. We talked about looking after ourselves and our bodies and keeping healthy. We read the story of ‘Little Lumpty’ who got stuck on Humpty Dumpty’s wall and carried out an experiment to see what would be the best way to try and catch him so he didn’t have the same fate as Humpty Dumpty. We made predictions for each surface and then tested them out. We had a ‘cracking’ good time doing this.
We also used the Chatterpix app to bring Humpty Dumpty to life and practice retelling the rhyme. The children did some amazing work.
