As part of our digital art topic we were exploring Marvellous Monochromes. We looked at how to add shade to colours by adding black and how to add tint by adding white. We then used these shades and tints to to create a monochrome landscape by starting with the lightest tint at the top and the darkest shade at the end. They then added dark coloured trees to create silhouettes. They looked amazing.
With our new found skills we decided then in our next lesson to use it create Halloween themed monochrome backgrounds with Halloween Silhouettes. They look fantastic!
