Butterfly Garden
3rd Jun 2019
We have had an exciting four weeks in Nursery learning about ’Minibeasts’.
As part of our learning we nurtured our own caterpillars in the classroom, watching them grow and develop each day, patiently observing them while in their cocoons and excitedly watching them emerge into beautiful butterflies.
Today we decided it was time to release them in our garden so that, when the time came, they could find somewhere safe to lay their eggs and begin their life cycle all over again.
We will miss them a lot, but we hope that “Apple”, “Raspberry”, “Strawberry”, “Watermelon” and “Potato” will come back to visit us soon!
