The School Council have been taking their responsibility very seriously this year to make sure the children’s voice is heard in our school. Their first task, that they brought forward to Mrs Concannon, was to get new outdoor equipment in all playgrounds. They completed an audit on the equipment we already had and with the help of Aimee, made a list of things we needed to buy or replace. Mrs Concannon agreed to fund the new equipment from the sponsorship money from the Halloween Spooktacular. Today, the leaders of the School Council went to Smyths along with Miss Lynch and Aimee and kitted out all our playgrounds with what they needed! They made it their mission to get the well sought after football nets! A big thank you to Conor from Smyths for all his help and a big well done to the School Council for completing their first important mission!
