This week we are very excited to be beginning our topic about Pirates. To begin our topic we all drew our own pirate portraits by looking at pictures of pirates and discussing what we would need to include. We talked about the colours we should use to make them stand out and that we recognise as pirate colours. The portraits the children have produced are fantastic. Some very frightening pirates! Our next job now is to give our pirates some names.
