Notices for the week beginning Monday January 29th 2018

28th Jan 2018

All clubs running as normal this week.

We have very large numbers of children not bringing in PE gear and requesting phone calls home to parents on Thursdays and Fridays! Please support us in teaching the kids to come to school ready on Mondays by bringing PE gear in on that day.

We are looking forward to welcoming all our grandparents of children from P1-P7 to a special assembly this Wednesday morning, January 31st at 9.15am. After the assembly they will be invited to stay for a cuppa and a visit to their grandchild's classroom. This assembly takes place every year as part of Catholic Schools' week. We look forward to welcoming some of the children from Ebrington PS to this gathering too.

Nursery staff will be in touch soon with their plans for Grandparents!

Last week we had a monitoring day for our Shared Education. This was carried out by our District Inspector and she gave very positive feedback at the end of the day. We hope now to hold one or two events before the end of the year whereby parents can come along and experience some of the programmes the children are involved in.

If you visit the parents section of this website you will find new canteen menus attached for January through to March. We would encourage you to download these so that you have the option of sending in lunch should your child not eat what is offered on any particular day. There is always a wide range of food options but some children still eat very little.

Please remember that our half term holiday begins at 3pm on Friday February 9th and the children will return to school on Monday February 19th.
