We have been doing lots of investigations in our bread topic. We have been looking at the changes that happen to bread when it is heat and then gone on to discuss reversible and irreversible changes. We made some toast and discovered that it is irrecoverable and can not be changed back. The children also took the temper of the bread before and after it was cooked. They really enjoyed using the thermometers and reading the temperatures.
